About me

At Healthy Steps Footcare, my mission as a footcare nurse is to promote foot health and wellness for all my clients. I believe that healthy feet are the foundation of a healthy lifestyle, and I am dedicated to providing the highest quality footcare services.

I graduated from Conestoga College and have been working as a Registered Practical Nurse since 2013, gaining experience in hospital settings across various units. In 2023, I decided to pursue both basic and advanced footcare education at Mohawk College. Additionally, I have completed certificates through Ontario Public Health on Sterilization and Disinfection. I am certified in Onyfix application through PedEd and hold a natural manicure certification from The Ontario Nail Institute. I am registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and carry liability insurance through WeRPN, ensuring that I adhere to best practice guidelines set by the CNO while working within my scope of practice.

In 2023, I moved to Brussels, and my husband and I welcomed our first child in July 2024. After working in acute care settings, I recognized the limitations of community resources, particularly in rural areas. This realization motivated me to make a difference in my community while also achieving a better work-life balance. I look forward to meeting and connecting with you all!

My home-based footcare clinic opened in July 2025 in Brussels, ON. Please note, you will have to climb two steps to reach the door to enter. Let me know if you will need assistance.
